IDC酒店设计奖是国内享有极高声誉的专业酒店设计奖项，此次更细分6大类别，旨在推崇酒店设计新概念，创新酒店空间，设计创造价值。
2008中国年度酒店奖起源于美国HOTELS每年一度面向全球公布的《世界酒店300强》排行榜，是世界酒店行业发展的风向标，在行业内享有巨大的影响力。作为美国《Hotels》中文版，为了反映目前世界最热的旅游酒店业发展地区——中国酒店业的发展，特此推出2008中国年度酒店奖，以反映中国酒店业前沿发展趋势并嘉奖先锋形象的杰出代表。

IDC Hospitality Design Award is a widely participated competition specially for prompting hotel design. It enjoys a high reputation and supported by a very strong professional background in Chinese interior design field. The 4th competition further divides hotel space into 6 categories, dedicating to honor innovative design ideas and hotel space. Tell how design makes value.
2008 HOTELS China Award is originated from HOTEL GIANTS held by HOTELS magazine annually giving announcement to the World TOP300 Hotel corporates. The list has such powerful influence that it becomes a weathervane in global hospitality field. As the Chinese version of HOTELS, we launch 2008 HOTELS China Award to reflect the development of hotel industry in China which is also the most focused market in the world. Meanwhile to honor those outstanding hoteliers and industry presentatives.
